Chess Games

Chess is a two-player board game where the goal is to checkmate the opponent's king, placing it in a position where it cannot escape capture. The game is played on an 8x8 checkered board with each player starting with 16 pieces: a king, a queen, two rooks, two bishops, two knights, and eight pawns. Each piece has a unique movement pattern, and players take turns moving one piece per turn.
